Just done - now the pieces are to be placed . . .
a
. . . these pupils have had some chess lessons already, obviously. Even the black Queen is placed correctly.
So - let's start!
The first move . . .
O.k. - they are beginners . . .
Calm concentration on the game - though she seems to be younger, the girl on the left seems to be initiative, the girl on the left seems to have observing attitude - she would
benefit from the "Golden Rules", as for instance to develop the center (see accrding clip at YouTube).
A new observer enters the scene - chess is a game which socializes people . . .
Battle of Pawns - White on the left has still all it's pieces. Though her position is weaker, the girl on the right keeps her calm mood: with some advice
from an experienced teacher she may well become a strong player and - a good, patient learner, a student with good marks . . .

Background Information: These photos were taken in the morning of 7th of April 2014 at Mambo School/ Soveto.
The bottle top chess sets are intended to serve as chess games at the pupil's home. For use in School we recommend the ordinary Staunton chess sets!
The chess sets seen above can also bee used in Schools in very provincial areas, where it might be difficult to organize the Staunton pieces - once the headmaster and teachers see the unique benefits the pupils have from the chess lessons they can look out for the bigger (Staunton) sets - it will be the best investment in the future of their pupils they can arrange for them.
